Considered Electrical Emergencies – No electricity to the property, or no hot water resulting from an outage from an electric hot water system.
Prior to contacting your Property Manager, please first contact Western Power on 13 13 51 or visit their website at westernpower.com.au to determine if there is an outage in your area, or any noted fallen power lines.
A reminder to also check the Residual Currency Device switch (RCD) (usually found in the property metre box) has not tripped.

PLUMBING
Considered Plumbing Emergencies- No gas, no water, no hot water resulting from an outage from a gas hot water system, gas leak, burst pipes, blocked or overflowing drains.
Prior to contacting your Property Manager, please perform the following checks (if applicable)
- Gas hot water system – check that the pilot light is on.
- No water – contact Water Corporation on 13 13 85 or at www.watercorporation.com.au/Outages-and-works and check for outages in your area
- Burst water pipe – turn the water off at the mains.
- If you smell gas – turn off the gas at the meter.

BREAK IN AND DAMAGE TO GLASS
- Call 000 if you are in immediate danger or injured
- Report the break in to the Police on 131 444
- Ensure that you request a Police Report Number. If no Police Report Number is provided to GLC Residential, the cost of glass repair will be the responsibility of the Tenant(s)
- Ensure that the Police Report Number and all damage is reported to your Property Manager in writing by the next business day.

SEVERE STORM DAMAGE
- Call 000 if you are in immediate danger or injured
- Call SES (State Emergency Service) on 132 500 if:

- a tree has fallen on the property causing roof damage
- severe roof/ceiling leak
- If there is structural damage to the house, flooding or electrical problems, DO NOT stay in the house.
- Your Property Manager will contact the appropriate parties the next working day to arrange the necessary repairs.
Please note that if a Contractor is requested to attend the Property after hours for a request not deemed as an emergency (as stated above) the Tenant(s) will be liable for 100% of the invoice fee.
